Rihanna saw Valentine’s Day as the perfect time to create a special edition of her fan-favorite Butta Drop Vanilla Dream Shimmering Whipped Oil Body Cream ($45). In honor of the holiday created to celebrate love, the beauty mogul recreated her popular Fenty Skin product with a rose gold shimmer and vanilla scent that guarantees to get hearts racing.

In October 2022, I tried Fenty Skin’s holiday edition of Butta Drop and was impressed by the body cream’s moisturizing properties. I’m a fan of the skin-nourishing formula that features shea butter, glycerin (a humectant), coconut oil, and jojoba oil. Using the cinnamon-scented cream left my skin feeling soft and supple after slathering it all over my body. The formula’s glycerin helped to lock in moisture for long-lasting hydration, making it my go-to for my winter skincare routine.

I recently learned that Rihanna turned to the whipped body cream’s limited-edition formula to achieve the shimmering rose gold skin that we couldn’t take our eyes off of during her Golden Globes debut on Jan. 10.

The star was nominated for Best Original Song for “Lift Me Up” from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.” For the star-studded event, Rihanna made an entrance with her stunning Schiaparelli black evening gown covered in eye-catching diamonds. The singer ensured her skin shined bright like a diamond by moisturizing with the body butter, which features a rose-gold shimmer and vanilla fragrance.

The luxurious moisturizer is formulated for all skin types and contains rich butters, restorative tropical oils, and extracts. It butters the skin with instant and all-day hydration — and a skincare experience that delights.
